The Town of Eagle has multiple seasonal, full-time, positions for the summer to perform a variety of routine and special activities for maintenance within the Public Works Department. Will assist with the maintenance of buildings, parks, landscaping, mowing, weed trimming and trash collection. Must be a minimum of 16 years old with a Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
Hiring Range: $13.31 - $17.40 hourly depending on experience, the maximum pay range is $21.42 hourly, pay above the hiring range may be considered for applicants with extensive landscaping experience.
Schedule: This is a full-time seasonal position preferred to start Mid- April or May through August or October, scheduled for 4-6 months (start and end dates can be flexible), budgeted 40 hours weekly, 9-hour days Monday Thursday 7:00 am 4:30 pm and 4 hours on Friday's 7:00 am 11:00 am.
Requirements:
No experience required, will train the right candidate
Some landscape maintenance or construction experience is helpful
Valid State Driver's License and Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Ability to follow directions and adhere to safety policies/procedures
Ability to have a sense of ownership and pride in one's work
Ability to bend, stoop, knell, walk on uneven terrain and work with arms stretched out
Physical discomforts from changes in weather such as rain, cold, heat, or other factors such as insects, dust, dirt and odors can be expected
Position requires lifting 25-50 lbs. frequently, 50-75 lbs. occasionally, standing, bending and
operation of landscape equipment (mower and weed trimming equipment)
