The primary role for the X-ray Technologist will be to maintain and use equipment and supplies necessary to demonstrate portions of the human body with high-quality radiographic images for diagnostic purposes. This role will be based in our Frisco clinic with the expectation of working approximately 15-20 hours a week. Following county health and CDC guidelines, masks are required to be worn while in the office. The right person for this role will be team oriented, service-minded and empathetic in their approach to our patients and their families. Other responsibilities included positioning patient on examining table and set up as well as adjusting equipment to obtain optimum view of specific body area as requested by physician in addition to using patient-shielding techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patient and staff.   Viewing images of area being diagnosed to ensure quality of images, rejecting and repeating work that does not meet established standards.   Managing outside studies and operate digital picture archiving communications systems.  Current American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) license as an RT required along with Basic Life Support Certification (CPR/BLS).
