The Best Western Plus Eagle Lodge & Suites is seeking an efficient, organized, attentive person to take leadership of our front desk team and front office. We are looking for a leader by example with exacting standards who can use effective interpersonal skills not only to give direction but to remain open to ideas and feedback. You will take pride in our property and let your high energy and enthusiasm be contagious.As part of a high turnover industry, you will also be flexible, adaptable, and inventive, with the ability to maintain a unified and collaborative team atmosphere. You will ally with our management team to implement and maintain practice and procedure to provide our valued guests with extraordinary service. Your dedication to excellence will ensure return guests and drive revenue.  Responsibilities include:- Direct and inspect the work of front desk agents and night auditors to maintain the highest level of customer service and accuracy- Schedule employees to improve efficiency and provide optimum guest experience- Hire outstanding employees- Mentor employees to exceed standards for work quality, customer service, and safety; train new desk agents to successfully perform all aspects of their duties- Train staff on handling guests with tact and kindness. Personally attend to difficult situations involving upset guests. Attempt to resolve all instances of poor guest service before guests leave the property- Perform assigned administrative duties such as daily reports, credit card reversals, supply inventory, and other related items- Multitask and prioritize to adjust to changing circumstances and complete multiple assignments despite interruption- Work with other members of management to continuously evaluate and refine processes and performance- Serve as manager on duty in the absence of the GM and/or AGM- Assist in working shifts at the desk as necessary Qualifications:- At least one year's hotel management or supervisory experience; other forms of management, while valuable, will not be taken into account- A high school diploma or GED- Demonstrated experience successfully leading and training a team of employees to excel- Ability to remain calm and make good decisions under pressure- Collaborative analytical skills- Computer proficiency to include Microsoft suite and Google; ability to operate basic office equipment- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time- Available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays Does all of the above sound like you?
