HR Coordinator & Office Manager
QuietKat is an outdoor industry leader in high-powered electric mountain bikes that help riders gain better access to the great outdoors. UrgeMedia, Inc. is a well-established and growing marketing company with a focus on the hunting/fishing industry. While these are separate companies, there is crossover on the marketing side of things and both companies have the same ownership and office out of the same building in Eagle, CO.
The HR Coordinator & Office Manager will work closely with QuietKat/UrgeMedia's internal stakeholders and external HR consulting partners to support execution against all HR-related duties, including responsibilities in the following functional areas: total rewards administration (health and wellness, compensation), performance management, on-boarding and off-boarding, policy implementation, employment law compliance and HR program and project execution. This person will also facilitate the smooth running of the office building as a whole including managing office cleaning personnel and coordinating all routine & necessary maintenance on both the building and all computers, printers/copiers, phones, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support employees throughout the employee lifecycle; recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, employee development, off-boarding, and more.
Manage the recruitment process including job postings, phone screens, the coordination of interviews and the job offer process.
Facilitate the on-boarding process and ensure all new hire paperwork is complete and accurate.
Manage the off-boarding process.
Administer processes and maintain accurate records of transactions such as new hires, promotions, performance reviews, terminations, time tracking and business reporting.
Field general HR-related questions; escalate issues and collaborate with external consulting partners as appropriate.
Work with internal leadership and external consulting partners to create process improvements.
Facilitate HR-related projects or initiatives which may include: facilitating completion of job descriptions, supporting the performance review process, working with teams to increase employee engagement.
Participate in training initiatives for organization.
Process unemployment and worker's compensation claims.
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
Manage office cleaning personnel.
Work closely with our IT consultant to ensure all equipment is running
Coordinate with outside vendors on building maintenance projects as
Perform job in accordance with all UrgeMedia/QuietKat practices.
Other duties as assigned.

This position is on a team or acts as an individual contributor and does not supervise employees.
The position has a direct impact on the services provided by the organization and is generally given instruction by the supervisor.
This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This job frequently communicates with employees. You must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Working conditions include being in a shared workspace. Dogs may be present in the office areas.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Solid knowledge of accepted human resources standards and procedures, including federal and state employment regulations.
Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone, or via email.

Ability to use information technology including email and web navigation, including Microsoft Suite programs.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATES
Required Bachelors' degree, and 1-2 years of related experience
Certification in human resources a plus.
Salary range is between $43,000 - $48,000 per year and is commensurate with experience.
