EMERGENCY FOOD AND SHELTER PROGRAM
GRANT AWARD for Phase 36
The Northern Rockies Jurisdiction has been chosen to receive $13,811 to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in Eagle, Routt, Pitkin, Summit, Grand, and Jackson counties. State funds were awarded by a National Board that is chaired by the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency. Funds for the above jurisdiction were awarded by a State Set-Aside Committee.
The local board is seeking applications from agencies that meet the following criteria: 1)be private voluntary non-profits or units of government, 2) have an accounting system, 3) practice non-discrimination, 4) have a demonstrated the capability to deliver emergency food and/or shelter programs, and 5) if they are a private voluntary organization, they must have a voluntary board.
