Take Notice that the Garfield County Community Development Director has initiated a Text Amendment request to amend the Garfield County Land Use and Development Code of 2013 as amended, including but not limited to updates and amendments to: Article 3 Zoning; Article 4 Application and Review Procedures; Article 5 Divisions of Land; Article 7 Standards; and Article 15 Definitions. The items to be addressed as part of the Text Amendment Application include: Updates to the Sketch Plan procedure, Dimensional Standards Waivers, Industrial Use Standards, Ag-Tourism & Events, Temporary Uses & Events, Wineries, Breweries, and Cideries, Updates to Condominium Regulations, Updates to Affordable Housing Regulations, Dispersed Camping in the Floodplain, Updates to Solar Regulations, Updates to Mineral Notice Requirements, Grading Business Regulations, Updates to Tiny Home Requirements, and Use Table Changes.

A Garfield County Planning Commission public hearing on this request has been scheduled for the 18th day of November, at 6:00 p.m. in the County Commissioners Meeting Room, Garfield County Administration Building, 108 8th Street, Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

All persons affected by the proposed text amendments are invited to state their views, protests or support. If you cannot appear personally at such hearing, then you are urged to state your views by letter or send an email to Email Me. The Planning Commission will give consideration to all comments received in deciding whether to recommend approval, modify, or deny the request. The application may be reviewed at the office of the Community Development Department located at 108 8th Street, 4th Floor, Garfield County Administration Building, Glenwood Springs, Colorado between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
