Performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures of patients in accordance with departmental protocols. Performs all procedures following exam protocol on neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Provides direct patient care that ensures quality, efficiency and well-being of each patient. Prepares and administers contrast and operates all MRI equipment in accordance with departmental policy and procedure. Collaborates with members of the health care team to promote total patient care, demonstrating commitment to the mission, vision and values of St. John's Medical Center.Delivers services according to the scope of service for Diagnostic Imaging. Adheres to and practices the St. John's Hospital Corporate Compliance Program and participates in Performance Improvement activities.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
ARRT Registry examination in Radiography, WY license required before start. MRI experience. ARRT advanced level certification in MRI. CPR certification. Good interpersonal and customer service skills. Good phone etiquette.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
2 years working as a MRI Technologist in a hospital setting. Experience scanning on the Siemens Aera 1.5T & Siemens Skyra 3T MRI scanners.
