SUMMIT COUNTY GOVERNMENT
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL MESA CORTINA PILE BURNING
Summit County Government is receiving sealed proposals from Type 3 Burn Bosses and Qualified Burners for a written burn plan and non-broadcast pile prescribed burning of 457 hand piles on the Mesa Cortina Open Space, west of the Town of Silverthorne, CO.
Said electronic submissions or sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Summit County Open Spaces and Trails Department, 37 Peak One Dr., PO Box 5660, Frisco ,CO, 80443 until 5pm MST/MDT on Thursday, August 20, 2020.
At said time and place, all proposals that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder who best meets the requirement of Summit County and the public interest.
A pre-bid meeting and on-site visit will be held on Thursday, August 13th at 10:00 AM MST/MDT, beginning at the Silverheels Trail Portal, Silverheels Dr., Silverthorne, CO 80497.
The Summit County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities or informalities, and to conduct such investigations or negotiations as it deems necessary to select the most responsible and responsive bid.
